| Healing Ceremony & Celebration of Abundance |

We have received strong spiritual guidance that we should offer a healing ceremony in response to the overwhelming number of people in our spiritual community who are in need of  personal healing or have family member or friend in need, whether it be physical, emotional, or a clearing of the path to well-being or joy. The ceremony will be offered in conjunction with our fall celebration of abundance, and will draw upon the energy of the Full Moon in Taurus (physical comforts, long term plans, big abundance), and the sacred evolutionary “gateway” that is to occur at 11/11/11, opening up opportunities for healing and reuniting with our whole and healthiest selves.We (at Practical Magic, College of Esoteric Arts, Goddess Rhythms) believe in bringing the sacred to celebration and celebration to the sacred. At the completion of our ceremony proper we will join together with Goddess Rhythms Belly Dance and our fabulous drummers and rejoice in dance, rhythm, and celebration. When we expand our joy and energy together we open ourselves to great abundance in our lives, whether that be physical luxuries, or a feeling of being emotionally fulfilled and loved. Our joy is also a gift we extend to the Universe/Creator in exchange for our healing and abundance. A few drums and plenty of hip scarves will be provided, but we encourage you to bring your own if you have one. You are welcome to drum, dance, or simply soak up the good vibrations. This is a non-denominational event! All higher powers welcome. Details: These ceremonies are very powerful. When we come together in this way we are capable of raising tremendous healing energy for ourselves and one another. (Many of us who have worked together before have seen such miracles). And when we heal, we heal for all –we heal the Universe. Having said this it is important that we follow certain etiquettes. We cannot heal someone without his/her permission. Permission can be received by asking the friend or family member whom you wish to send healing energy to directly, or if that person is not able to answer for her/himself and you know him or her intimately and can grant permission from your heart on his/her behalf that is also fine. In other situations, where permission cannot be ascertained, there is an alternative, which is to send your wishes for healing to the person’s guardian angels, who can act as a “filter”. Participants are welcome to bring a photograph of the person(s) receiving the healing (or of themselves) and a sacred object that will be placed on the altar, charged with healing energy, and given back to the person, such as a piece of jewelry, a crystal, or something personal. Refreshments will be provided. Though we will not be providing wine, beer and the like, we welcome you to bring your own celebratory beverage, but we ask that you ensure your safe transportation home should you require it. We are happy to phone a taxi on your behalf. We will gather for our ceremony on Friday November 11 at 9:30 pm in our loft space in Inglewood (2216 9 Avenue S.E. near the bird sanctuary) under the moonlit skylights. The ceremony will begin at 10:00pm, and we will be “sending the healing energy” at 11:11 pm; the celebration (optional but so much fun!) will run until approximately 1:00pm, or as long as we have energy to spare. We ask for a $20 contribution per person which will include refreshments and materials. |
